Lalaloopsy Jewel Vector

Thanks to one of my friends from high school, I was able to learn about Adobe Illistrator and its uses.

A while back, he was making vector art and remakes of the characters of My Little Pony. Apparently the fanbase is very dedicated to the series to the point that they are extremely active in the arts. Some including my friend are the ones who take screenshots of the show and make vector replicas. Honestly I think that's very useful, that way it'll be easier to make HD pictures and animation with them. Hell there's one guy who makes vectors of the characters with every single animation frame.

Since we were taking animation class I was learning about 2d animation and compaired 2d cartoons with each other. Once show I currently like is Lalaloopsy. Since mostly everything is a vector on that series, it makes a good canadate to try to replicate. 

This is a replica of Jewel's Sparkle's head. A majority is very accurate to the original's but (I don't know if any of you can see it) The Tiara is off, kinda. With tracing most of it was easy, but the image files I've found were too blurred to properly trace the tiara. (Also the Allignment thingy in Illistrator kept screwing it up, and I have no idea how to turn that off. This is just a practice one being my first time making this. Let me know what you think, and maybe in the future I can try doing the full body
